“No rain, No Flowers”

This phrase “No rain, no flowers” has been pivotal in my life, so much so I have it tattooed on me. In life, you won’t always have Sunny days, and it’s important that we don’t only have good days. There so much learned from our failures, our hard times, and so much gratitude and perspective in the struggle.

This piece talks about taking the good with the bad. Can’t enjoy the beauty of the flower, without accepting the rain makes it what it is. It’s the thought that without pain, there is no growth. Instead of hating or trying to avoid the difficult or uncomfortable times in life, embrace them, step back and get some perspective and see what you can learn. The hard seasons in life, the struggle, the growing pains are there for a reason, and you wouldn’t be your best self without them.
